Electrochemical Biosensors using 1D nanoarchitectures
This project has as main objective the development of innovative technologies for the synthesis of controlled 1D morphological nano-architectures with applications in the development of non-enzymatic electrochemical biosensors for the detection of some analysts of interest in the medical field: glucose, H2O2, folic acid , circulatory tumor cells - CTC. It is envisaged the application of the electrodeposition procedures of Cu, Pt, Au, Bi and polypyrrole nanofire using porous membrane templates (e.g., polycarbonate membranes, anodic alumina membranes), in apo electrolytes and ionic liquid types that offer the advantage of good reproducibility control, high yields and a lower cost compared to classical methods based on physical methods.
